Dan and JoAnne Johnson hung out a sign in 1980 that said "Open for Business" and thus began the start of Johnson Landscaping. The business started small, providing residential services to Washburn, Minot, and surrounding ND areas. In 1996 they moved their operations and office permanently to Minot, ND. Throughout the years they have expanded their operations, and today Johnson Landscaping provides Commercial and Residential Construction Products and Services all over the state of North Dakota. The business has grown over the years to provide all types of landscaping products and services. Today, Johnson Landscaping completes and provides landscape services to both the government and private sector. Our goal today remains the same as when we first opened our doors:

We have developed a reputation for Performance and Quality Workmanship. Along with that, our confidence and abilities have allowed us to retain and establish meaningful business relationships. 

Today, Johnson Landscaping and staff welcome challenge and opportunity. Our people take a lot of pride in everything we do. In December 1998, Dan, passed away at a very young age. Dan and JoAnne were a dynamic team that complimented each other with their skills and abilities. Together they made their dream become reality. 

As a minority contractor and Woman Owned Business, JoAnne, moved forward to continue the dream that her and Dan started so many years ago. In 1999, JoAnne Johnson was named "Woman Owned Business" of the year on both the State and National level.

The most important part of Johnson Landscaping's success is their goals, bridge of people, teamwork, dedication, and the fact that Johnson Landscaping and their staff really like people. Image is what people think we are. Integrity is what we really are.
